This handy product kills ticks and fleas for up to 30 with just a few clicks

Since it’s Flea and Tick awareness this month at PetGuide.com, we wanted to introduce you to a few products we think will make your life easier and keep your dog pest-free. Today, we’re going to take a look at Adams Flea & Tick Spot On, a product that provides flea and tick protection for dogs for up to 30 days, as well as protection from flea re-infestation down the road.

Adams Flea & Tick Spot On kills fleas and ticks, which is awesome, but it goes a step further. It also prevents re-infestation by knocking out flea eggs and larvae. On top of that, it keeps away those pesky mosquitoes.

One of the great things about Spot On is that it comes with the Smart Shield Applicator, an award-winning topical flea and tick control delivery device. Just slip a tube of the solution into the Smart Shield Applicator and effectively apply flea and tick treatment to your dog. Its patent-pending design is easy to grip, helps part fur for direct application to the dog’s skin (where the bugs live) and effectively keeps liquid off your hands. That means no more smelly hands after you’re finished applying the treatment.

To use Flea & Tick Adams Spot On, just open the Smart Shield Applicator’s blue door, load the tube (white side up) and close the door back up (this will also open the tube). Have your dog stand in front of you and use the tip of the applicator to part the fur so you can get close to your dog’s skin. Press the circle on blue door once at each of four or five evenly placed spots between the shoulders to the base of the tail. After using the Spot On treatment (which contains the Infest Stop ingredient), it will start working its magic within 15 minutes.

We included a video of the Adams Flea & Tick Spot On and Smart Shield Applicator in action below. You can learn more about this product on the Adams website.
