Chili Recipe For Dogs

It’s not football season (just yet), but there’s no reason why we can’t enjoy some chili. And did you know that our dogs can even get in on the goodness? Of course, their version isn’t as hot or as gut-wrenching gassy as ours (thank goodness), but our Dog Chili Recipe will have your pooch cheering for another bowl. It’s a wonderful treat on a rainy or cold day, or when you want to sit down with your furry BFF and watch your favorite team battle it out.

Dog Chili Recipe

Ingredients:

4 chicken breasts

1 can of kidney beans, drained and rinsed

1 can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed

1 cup of carrots, diced or grated

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small can of tomato paste

1 teaspoon thyme

1 cups of chicken broth

3 cups of water

Directions

This Dog Chili Recipe was much easier to make than the one I make for Super Bowl Sunday – and much healthier! And remember, you can always store and freeze portions to save for a rainy Sunday afternoon.
