Meet Hylo, our Adoptable Dog of the Week from Adoptapet.com. This young fellow is a Terrier/Schnauzer mix and he’s already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Hylo’s Story:

Hello, I’m Hylo (Hi-Lo)!

Momma says I am named for an old bluegrass singer from this neck of the woods. I admit if I could play the guitar and sing, I would get your attention and show you what a great little fellow I am.

I love to run and play with my foster family. Keep away with a squeaky toy is my favorite game with my foster brothers. I just love everyone (little kids, big people, other pets too). I know I could learn a lot of new things if you would take the time to show me.

If you are looking for a young fellow to love you unconditionally and give you lots of kisses and tail wags, then I am your guy. I sure would like to have a family of my very own. Just think, we could make beautiful music together.

Hylo is a medium size wire-haired terrier mix (possibly a little Schnauzer) that is approximately 8-9 months old. He is very handsome with a dark wiry coat, 4 paws dipped in white and a distinguished white beard. He loves to be brushed and is very easy to groom (no shedding). He weighs 29 pounds and is full grown (a perfect size – not too big or too little). He is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. He is learning his house manners and walks on a leash.

Hylo is located in a foster home in eastern KY. Out of state adoptions and transportation can be arranged. If you are interested in adopting Hylo, please complete an online adoption application at www.kydiamondsintheruff.org. If you have questions, feel free to email us at [email protected] or give us a call at 1-855-745-2738. We look forward to hearing from you!
