Meet Lightning, our Adoptable Dog of the Week from Adoptapet.com. Lightning is a 3-year-old Poodle mix from Cheektowaga, NY. He’s already neutered, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Lightning’s Story:

This handsome guy is named Lightning. He is a bit shy in the shelter. It can be a scary place for a dog 🙁 This little man is only 13.5 pounds and 3 years old. He loves dogs and kids. He does need a little work with leash training. The shelter says he appears to be house broken! Lightning is coming to HSH Rescue around August 17 and is looking for his forever home. I know he will get scooped up quickly. You can put an application in now, as long as you don’t mind waiting for him. He will need a 5-7 day hold once he arrives, just to be sure all is well. Our applications can be found online at homesweethomerescue.org

Lightning is neutered, heartworm negative, dewormed, flea treated, and UTD on vaccinations. He will also come with a free vet visit voucher.
