Love free swag and dog food? Be on the lookout for The Honest Kitchen’s wily Bike Ninjas

We can all agree that ninjas are pretty bad-ass. So what happens when you’re a “Bike Ninja” from The Honest Kitchen, giving away free swag to dogs and pet parents? Your awesomeness rating gets cranked up to a 10!

You’ve probably heard of The Honest Kitchen and their reputation for their dehydrated, all-natural human-grade pet food products. Just one of their claims to fame is that their products are produced in the USA from non-GMO produce, hormone-free meats and some organic, fair trade ingredients. Not too shabby! And The Honest Kitchen’s Bike Ninjas are handing out samples their yummy food and treats at pet friendly sites across San Diego.

The pet food company is currently trying out the Bike Ninja program for a month – three of these covert swag assassins will be popping up around San Diego’s dog parks, doggy daycares, and pet stores. Their mission: to educate potential pet parents about The Honest Kitchen products, the company and why their food may be the right choice for your pet.

There’s no missing The Honest Kitchen Bike Ninjas. They’re getting around town in custom-outfitted bikes, armed to the teeth with free product samples, brochures and Honest Kitchen swag (if you’re looking for swords and throwing stars, you’re out of luck).

If all goes well with the one-month trial, The Honest Kitchen hopes to take over the world… er, we mean expand the Bike Ninja Program… to other bike friendly cities in the upcoming (and probably warmer) months. So far, The Honest Kitchen says they’ve had a great response, although there were a few disappointed folks who thought they were selling ice cream.

We think it’s a cool promotional idea and a great way to generate buzz about the brand. Have you seen any Honest Kitchen Bike Ninjas yet? Let us know if they’ve invaded a dog park near you and what you think of their food and treats.
