Meet Mama, our Adoptable Dog of the Week. Mama is an adult female King Charles Spaniel and Bichon Frise mix from Baton Rouge, LA. She is already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with kids.
Mama’s Story:
Mama came to the shelter very pregnant. She was immediately sent to foster care where she had her babies. A wonderful mother her babies are now old enough to find their forever homes and so Mama is looking for hers as well. She is 1 to 2 years old. We believe she is a Cavachon, which is a King Charles Spaniel and Bichon Frise mix. She has a low shedding coat that requires grooming and frequent brushing to prevent mats. She is potty trained, walks well on a leash, comes when called, and loves to ride in the car. She plays fetch and a ball is her favorite toy. She loves, loves, loves kids and will happily play fetch with them all day long. All dogs come with a microchip, annual vaccinations including EBR rabies license and tag, dewormer, vet exam and spay/neuter. Adoption fees vary based on adoption criteria.
