You love your dog, but man, his breath could strip paint off a wall! Your dog’s breath is so bad, you don’t know what end smells worse. If you’re sick of being woken up in the morning with the foul stench of bad dog breath, you’ll want to try our Barking Bad Breath Dog Biscuit Recipe. Parsley and mint work together to give him kissably fresh breath. And he won’t get offended when you give him a treat to get rid of that stink breath – personal hygiene complaints always go down better when a treat is involved.

So we know that mint always makes everything better when it comes to barking bad breath. Mint in treats give the treats a nice, light flavor that your dog will like but better? It’ll help give him that breath that you’ll love when it comes to smooches and cuddle time. Peppermint especially gives your pup some vim and vigor, and can energize both his vitality and his breath with just the right quantity. And mint is a great equalizer when it comes to tummy troubles. It’s good for helping with digestion as well as settling those stomachs that are unsettled (because eating deer poop or mom’s magazine or whatever certainly doesn’t set well on a doggo’s tummy).

But who knew parsley was a secret breath treat ingredient? Okay, spoiler, we knew, but now you do too!

Humans often use parsley to help deodorize their own mouths…cleanse their palettes and freshen the old pucker-upper. It’s because parsley has such a pleasant, fresh scent that it makes a great breath freshener but the high levels of chlorophyll add to creating a lovely, odiferous effect. Studies on animals show that parsley can combat those foul sulfur compounds in mouths that make your dog’s breath smell like his butt. An aside: licking his butt can add to his mouth smelling like his butt, but parsley helps with that too!

And combining parsley and mint in this recipe? Gets your dog ready for all the kisses. So, get to baking and kicking that barking bad breath to the curb.
