There’s nothing that pairs better with being a crazy cat lady than crafts. And I would know: I have 10 cats and love to sew, knit, and crochet (and I’m not your grandma, I swear). The book of kitty patterns was created by a group of amazing artists, and, as the name suggests, contains 380 motifs of all things feline to keep you stitching all summer long. Possibly even longer than that, especially if you are a beginner like I am.

I was lucky enough to be able to take a peek at a digital review edition of the book, and let me tell you, it’s going to wow every crazy cat lady. Seriously, even if I weren’t crafty, I’d start learning how to stitch just to have stuff with kitty-inspired appliques like those from the project inspiration gallery:

You’ll find patterns of cats in all styles and situations to embroider on your favorite tote, t-shirt, slippers… Basically, everything you own. And, to make it super customizable for every proud kitty parent, they’ve included dozens of different breeds from Persians to Ragdolls and Maine Coons, as well as domestic kitties with coats of all colors. Depending on the specific project, as well as your skill set, you’ll find an embroidery pattern for anything from a cat version of the alphabet to realistic pet portraits.
