This innovative product is a collaboration between Sleepypod and Assisi Animal Health and it promises to make life better for pets in pain.

Pet industry is growing at an incredible rate: it’s not just that pet parents are now spending more than ever on pets, but it’s that they’re demanding only the best for their precious fur babies. Luckily, it seems that the market is meeting everyone’s needs. From sophisticated wearable tech for cats and dogs to robotic toys for pets, there’s no shortage of innovative and technologically advanced products for our four-legged companions.

The latest revolutionary product to join this list is definitely the Assisi Loop Lounge™, a pet carrier and a bed that actually helps alleviate pain and reduce inflammation. This collaboration between the companies Sleepypod and Assisi Animal Health is based on a visionary technology that has yielded great results with pain management in the past.

While it might sound like an idea that belongs in a sci-fi movie, the technology behind the Assisi Loop Lounge™ is actually tried-and-true. It’s called targeted pulsed electromagnetic field therapy or tPEMF for short, and it works by using low-level pulses of electromagnetic energy to encourage the body’s own healing mechanism. The method has been used in both humans and other animals, but the trademarked technology developed by the Assisi Animal Health is tailored for small animals specifically. Now, this electromagnetic device is being housed in a comfy carrier for cats and dogs, to allow for a safe and easily available healing for everyone.

The non-pharmaceutical, anti-inflammatory device is located at the bottom of the Sleepypod carrier, in a form of a pad. The multiple applicator coils embedded in the pad deliver the micro-currents to your pet’s whole body or a “nose-to-tail and toes-to-top-of-ears treatment”.

This futuristic healing pet carrier can be used at home or when you travel and it comes in two sizes: Sleepypod Air or Sleepypod Atom. Currently, neither of the models supports dogs over 15 lbs, but hopefully, there will be more available sizes in the future. For now, pet owners of toy dogs and cats can rely on Assisi Loop Lounge™ for help with their furry companion’s chronic pain and inflammation.
