Heartwarming Ad: Dogs Help People Who Have Seen Too Much [Video]

Not all dog videos are created to make us laugh or hypnotize us with their adorableness. We often forget the special bond we share with dogs, and this video from the Royal Dutch Guide Dog Foundation (KNGF Geleidehonden) will quickly reestablish how important it really is.

The overall message of this ad is to inform people that the foundation helps more than the visually impaired: “We not only help people who cannot see, but also those who have seen too much.” Veterans return home every day, suffering from the effects of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and unable to cope with what they have seen on the battle fields. More research is being release that proves that therapy dogs help our veterans with PTSD and adjust to life back home.

Please watch the video below and share. Warning: you may need tissues.
