Oscar de la Renta Dog Coats – High fashion for posh pooches

OMD! I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to learn that iconic fashion house Oscar de la Renta has just launched a new line of designer dog coats today. A little expensive? Of course. Necessary? Absolutely!

Inspired by Oscar’s dogs, there are two chic dog coats to choose from. The Black and Ivory Plaid Dog Coat is reversible and made from a fine wool and cashmere blend, finished with leather trim. This belted coat also comes with a collar that pops, a Velcro closure, and reverse glen plaid. It only comes in a medium size and retails for $250.

The Black and Navy Plaid Dog Coat is also make from a fine wool and cashmere blend and finished with leather trim, but isn’t reversible. The belted coat comes with a collar that pops and a Velcro closure. It only comes in a large size and retails for $300.

The Oscar de la Renta Dog Coats just hit its online store today – you can order it right now on their website. Unfortunately, these jackets are too big for my Oscar, but I’ll be keeping an eye out for smaller sizes to make their way to the market in the near future (fingers crossed!). And let’s be honest – this is the only piece of clothing from Oscar de la Renta that I would ever be able to afford. Would you spend $2050-$300 on a designer dog coat? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
