Oscar is so good about being a taste tester for my treats (yes, I know, it’s a tough job) that I thought I would name a treat after him. And so, Oscar’s Oats And Apple Dog Treat Recipe was born. There’s a little something sweet in this one… just like Oscar! A little bit of honey, a little bit of cinnamon, a little bit of apple – put it all together and you’ve got yourself one tasty treat. Just like Oscar!

Oscar’s Oats And Apple Dog Treat Recipe

Ingredients:

2 ¼ cups whole wheat flour

⅓ cup peanut butter

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup beef or chicken broth

1 shredded apple

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon honey

1 egg

1 tablespoon wheat germ
