Product Review: Taco Meoow Cat Bed

Published A Few Days Ago

Oscar asks his bestest kitty friends, Evey and Toto, to help him try out the Taco Meoow. Spicy and soft, this cat bed is a fiesta of fun!

It was love at first sight – It all started at a pet conference, when she first caught my eye. Perched on the new product showcase, the Taco Meoow’s sweet siren song called to me. A spicy blend of kitsch, cool, and comfort, I knew she had to be mine. And thankfully, the kind folks at ShopMeoow.com agreed, so they sent me one to review.

Taco Meoow can be used folded, like a taco, or flat, like a tostada. To make a taco, twist two of the red pom-poms together. Its moldable edge wire keeps it held in place (so nothing spills out). The taco gives kitties a place to explore, or a snug place to hide. Beneath the soft fleece fabric is a layer of celophane that adds an enticing ‘cracking taco’ sound.

To go “tostada style,” untwist the pom-poms and lay the bed flat. It can be placed on the floor or on a piece of furniture. And don’t forget to stuff it with the three potent Chili Pepper catnip toys that come with the Taco Meoow – they’re filled with high-quality organic catnip.

To keep it clean, simple spot cleaning with a soft cloth and fabric cleaner is recommended. When machine washing is necessary, first unzip Taco Meow cat bed and carefully remove the foam and cellophane before washing on a gentle cycle.

Oscar is the same size as a cat, so he was able to give this bed a try. But the Taco Meoow is made with cats in mind, so we went over to Instagram star’s Evey and Toto‘s house for a play date to see what they thought of it.

Catnip-filled peppers are Evey’s favorite filling.

This taco is filled with kitty goodness.

Toto’s got a taste for the Taco Meoow.

Woah… I’m feeling a bit… awesome! Must be something in this organic catnip!

Dude, my paws are HUGE! And my butt is sooooo fuzzy!

Oh, hey… how long have you been there?

Man, what was in those peppers? And how did I end up in this hotdog? That was a hell of a night – that’s the last time I party with Oscar!

Si Señor! It’s so freakin’ awesome! This is the coolest cat bed I’ve ever come across, and I’ve seen a lot of cat beds! Small dogs and cats of all sizes need the Taco Meoow. It’s a taco and a cat bed… what more could you want?
