What a cutie patootie! Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Momma, a 5 years old Chihuahua and Corgi mix from Warwick, Rhode Island. This lovely little lady is spayed, up to date on her shots, and housetrained. To boot, Momma also gets along well with kids, other dogs, and even cats. She truly is a sweetheart!

Momma’s Tale

This loving pooch had bad luck in life- she was surrendered by her owner to a local shelter. Even so, Momma remains a sweet dog who only wants to be loved and have someone to love in return. She loves walks, going on car rides, and eating pupcakes (clearly) but her favorite activities are cuddling and snuggling. Momma is your typical velcro pooch who will try to spend every second of the day by your side! She just needs a furever family to call her own and she’ll feel like the luckiest gal in the world.

In her previous living situation, Momma shared her home with furry roommates- she does great with other dogs and cats both! She is a laid-back dog who does well with respectful children, too. In other words, Momma is as friendly and loving as they come. Momma is fully housetrained and has all of her manners, so you won’t have to go through exhausting training stages like you would with a puppy. Seriously, you shouldn’t walk, you should run to adopt a pooch like Momma!

Momma would prefer a quiet home, with someone who would appreciate her loyal, affectionate nature and give her the life she deserves. She’s been through enough and now just wants a furever family of her own! If you are prepared to spoil Momma rotten, head on over to Rhode Home Rescue’s website to get more information on how to adopt her. This cutie pie is waiting for you!
