When the temperature goes up, let your dog cool off with a cool treat from The Bear & The Rat

Cool dogs deserve cool treats, free of wheat, corn and gluten. And this summer, your dog will want to wrap his paws and his tongue around The Bear & The Rat Cool Treats For Dogs.

The Bear and The Rat in question aren’t really what the name implies – they are the nicknames of the co-owner’s dogs (otherwise known as Quimby Fosse and Laika Ignatius). Meg Hanceford Meyer and Matt Mayer, the brains behind The Bear & The Rat, are based out of Denver, CO and are passionate about making a frozen dog treat that’s not only delectable but benefits a canine’s digestion as well. Before this product hit the freezer shelves, Meg and Matt worked with an animal nutritionist and holistic veterinarian to make sure that their treat was good enough to serve your dog.

You may have heard of them before – they made an appearance on the ABC show, Shark Tank. Although they’re a relatively new company, they’ve already made more than a few fans and dogs everywhere are begging for a taste of these creamy treats.

Made in a real ice cream factory, The Bear & The Rat frozen yogurt treats come in four tail-wagging flavors: Bacon Peanut Barker, Banana Peanut Barker, Choc ‘O’ Not (Carob) and Pumpkin. Packed with probiotics (3 billion to be exact), your dog’s digestion and immune health is given a boost, while the organic and natural ingredients let you feel good about giving your dog this treat.

Here are a few things these treats do have:

And here’s what it doesn’t have:

The Bear & The Rat Cool Treats For Dogs are available in a 16 oz pint, single serve 4-packs and 3.5 oz cups.
