Let’s head up north to meet Spike, our Adoptable Dog of the Week. Spike is a 1-year-old Shepherd mix from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is neutered and up to date with all his shots.

Spike’s Story:

Hi, my name is Spike. I sure did travel far to find a home, thanks to the Pet Placement Program of Toronto Animal Services South. I was a stray dog in northern rural Quebec, and when nobody came for me, the shelter asked if I could come live in the great city of Toronto. I was so excited that a team of dedicated volunteers flew me in a plane all the way from Quebec to Toronto Animal Services. I am a neutered male black and grey Shepherd, Collie and Husky mix. I am such a friendly boy and would make a great addition to any family. I would excel in a general obedience class with your local dog trainer. If you think you’re a great match for me then head of down to Toronto Animal Services South. Hope to see you soon!
