Provenance Hotels Debuts Line of Very Important Pet Amenities

Taking the idea of VIP (Very Important Pets) extremely seriously, Provenance Hotels and its eight urban lifestyle hotels infuse posh into pet travel.

With summer just around the corner and our winter-weary brains turning toward thoughts of vacation travel, many of us are also struggling with the decision of whether to pack up Rover and send him to “camp” (translation; board him), bring in a roomie (aka pet sitter) or stay put and learn to re-love our backyard. Ahh, but there is another option.

Leave it to a lifestyle hotel brand to not only spot the growing trend in vacation travelers who arrive with the fur-kids in tow but to come up with innovative and sustainable perks that make Rover feel as welcome and indulged as mom and dad.

Provenance Hotels has always been pet friendly but their collection of eight hotels in Oregon, Washington, Louisiana and Tennessee have now taken the lead and run with it by offering even more superior quality pet amenities and safety features.

Partnering with FIDO Friendly pet magazine, the top dogs at Provenance decided to expand on their existing signature pet program by adding cozy, sustainably produced pet beds from WestPaw Design as well as an eco-friendly room service menu that offers human grade quality pet food items. These new offerings supplement Provenance’s existing program that includes the usual expert recommendations on groomers, dog walkers and local veterinarians as well as those over-the-top indulgences reserved for a very good boy, such as pet acupuncture, psychics, Reiki… what, no Jacuzzi?

The Portland-based hotel brand’s commitment to delivering an exceptional stay experience and creating wonderful memories for pet parents and their furry wards means that arriving guests can expect to find their room equipped with not only WestPaw’s Eco Nap pet bed – created with recycled plastic bottles and eco-friendly materials – but a special plush welcome toy.

And there’s more. Provenance’s pledge to enrich the physical and spiritual well-being of both two- and four-legged guests means visitors can borrow from their library of inspirational books that touch on topics such as dog massage (the dos and don’ts), holistic pet care, pet psychology and even the worship of nature (where to hike with your pooch).

So cancel the kennel, say no to the sitter and pack your doggie bag… you’re about to travel in style.
