Looking for some extra storage and a place for your pet to chill out? Then read our review of thePetFusion Pet Window Perch(with storage baskets).

Oscar and Zed spend a lot of their time perched on the back on my favorite chair, staring wistfully out the window at the vet across the street. It doesn’t give them much room, as there’s only room for one of them to hang out at one time. And that why the Window Perch from PetFusion sounded like the perfect fit for my home.

Boasting a reversable, multi-functional modern design, the Window Perch measures in at 28 inches in height, 38 ½ inches in length and 11 ¾ inches in depth, making it ideal for small/medium-sized dogs and cats. The 20 ½ x 11 ¾ inch perch platform at the top offers plenty of room to relax, while the premium 1-inch foam perch pad provides plenty of comfort. To get their, your pet can use the 8-inch stairs that are carpeted, which prevents slipping when climbing or descending from the perch. It also comes with two storage baskets – great for storing your pet’s toys. The foam liner, outer cover, and step pads are machine washable. As well, the PetFusion Window Perch comes with a 1-year warranty for manufacture defects.

Because I purchased it online, I had to put the PetFusion Window Perch together myself. It’s a one-person job, but I was apprehensive – I don’t have the best track record when it comes to “some assembly required.” And that feeling didn’t diminish when I opened the box – so many pieces to put together!

Thank goodness for easy-to-follow instruction booklets and labelled wood pieces. I found it much like an IKEA instruction manual, lots of pictures to follow, light on the text. This isn’t a bad thing necessarily, but it helps if you’re handy. It took me about 30 minutes to put it all together – a little longer than I thought it would, however it’s all in one, sturdy piece!

For the price, what it comes with, and what it looks like finished, I would say that it’s a wonderful investment on a solid piece of furniture that’s made for your pets. Plus, I’m using the storage bins to house all of Oscar and Zed’s hats! I do wish that it came it different finishes, but the white/gray combo goes with my current décor. The boys love it too – now they can gaze out the window in style and comfort. If you’re interested in purchasing, you can check it out on Amazon.
