The calendar features 12 New York City-based men (with brains, brawn and beauty) posing with their adopted rescue animals. Alongside each image is the accompanying story behind the man and his mutt (or kitty, or bunny… you get the drift.)

Some of the notable men featured in the calendar include cover model and actor David Chokachi with rescue pups Mia and Sparkles, former Bachelor contestant Prince Lorenzo Borghese with rescue cat Thumper, and actor and fitness model Lee Washington, pictured above with his pooch, Max.

All proceeds from the calendar benefit Pillows for Paws and Grandpa Dave’s Creature Comforts, two NYC-based organization that are dedicated to improving the lives of shelter animals in the city.

Pillow for Paws distributes handmade pet beds and toys to animals in the New York City Animal Care and Control Centers, while Grandpa Dave’s Creature Comforts collects new dog and cat toys, treats and food as well as used bedding, blankets and toys for the NYC ACC. They also help foster pets in need until they find their forever homes.
