Park9 is where you’ll find all the hip Canadian dogs enjoying the finer things in life – like a pool, 5-star sleeping accommodations and luxe spa services.

The beds are premium, the televisions flat screen and the minibars are fully stocked. Guests can swim in their choice of indoor or outdoor pool, work out in the exercise areas or indulge in a little pampering at the spa. Sound like paradise? It is! And you’re not invited!

Park9 is Toronto’s first luxury spa and resort for dogs and cats and the inspired brainchild of Urban Dog Fitness + Spa. Founded in 2003, Urban Dog has an earned reputation for being best-in-class when it comes to pet parents who live, work and play in the downtown core. And with the all-new Park9 doggy resort, they’re dedicated to giving your good buddy a five star – dare we say, kennel – experience when travels take you out of town.

With a focus on delivering personalized service to each guest, Park9 is a fully cage-free boarding, daycare and grooming resort located close to Pearson Airport and allowing 24 hour drop off and pick up service for moms and dads with early morning departures.

Can’t get Rover off your mind as you sip that Pina Colada in Jamaica? Park9 offers private webcams that allow you to connect with your boy by video, talk to him directly from wherever you may be and even dispense a treat via your computer! Not that he’ll be sitting around waiting for your call. My little guy sure wouldn’t be if I added on some of the a la carte services available including private or semi-private splash sessions at the indoor pool, one-on-one play or fetch sessions, departure baths and grooming or spa services such as nail trims and brush outs.

But while he’s your best friend, why not become his best friend by stocking his mini bar with dog chews, a snack filled Kong toy, special holiday meals or even ice cream/frozen yogurt. For my boy, anything cheese would make him my number one fan!

And when it comes to how he’ll rest his weary head after a busy day, Slumberside accommodations have him sharing his sleeping quarters with other guests and a dedicated guardian, while suites allow Rover to enjoy some down time on his own. Choose from the luxury suite with exclusive premium dog beds, flat screen television and private webcam, poolside suites just off the swimming area and even a senior’s sanctuary located in a quiet part of the building, close to staff and offering individually controlled heated floors and special bedding.

Resident canine Clancy is set to welcome your little buddy and Park9’s “Play Nice” policy ensures rough-housing is kept at bay and Rover’s return home leaves him feeling relaxed, refreshed and with lots of great memories.

Park9 is now open – want to book your pampered pooch in for a stay? Visit Urban Dog Park9’s website for all the details.
