The winner of this contest will be living large with their dog in a real Slovenian Castle… with a salary to match the lifestyle

Is your dog looking for a swanky job? It doesn’t get more posh than this – a castle in Slovenia is currently looking for a caretaker dog. Of course, the dog that wins this coveted position will have to provide its own owner.

Offered by petsdialog.com – an initiative of the Slovenian Tourist Board – one lucky dog will get to be the Lord of the Castle (it’s featured in the above photo). And the swanky digs also come with a pretty sweet salary – 100,000 Euros (that’s $136,630 USD). Just fill out the application, submit a short story and upload a picture of your dog. You can get your friends to vote for you and promote your entry on social media sites and your website. From all of the entries, 25 will be picked and narrowed down to five finalists, who will be flown to Slovenia with their pets for a month of luxury living. Over this month, the contestants will keep a blog of their travels, and the most popular one wins the job.

I’ve filled out the form and it looks like you can enter no matter where you live. Of course, if Oscar were to win, we’d still be able to keep you update with the latest pet news and information… we’d just be doing it from the comfort of a castle. Visit petsdialog.com to fill out your application and a chance to win. And watch the promo video below – it’s the job of your dreams come true!
