Can you believe Taylor, our Adoptable Dog of the Week, is a German Shepherd? It’s true! Taylor is a 2-year-old male White German Shepherd Mix from Augusta, Maine. He’s already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Taylor’s Story:

Meet Taylor! Taylor is a sweet, gorgeous, 2-year-old male White German Shepherd Dog (GSD). Yes, he’s a GSD. His ears do not stand, which kind of takes away from the GSD look, but we have to reason to believe he is mixed. He certainly has a typical GSD personality 🙂

Taylor came from a Golden Retriever rescue we work with, and they ended up with him because they were told by the shelter he was a Golden Retriever, and they committed to taking him before seeing him. One look was all it took for them (and their vet) to realize he was a GSD.

Taylor is an awesome boy who loves people of all ages and sizes. He likes to be with you as much as he can, and is very eager to please. He gets along well with female dogs his own size or larger, but can be dominant with other males and small dogs. This boy is a gem, and will be a wonderful addition to the right family!

Taylor is being fostered in Old Towne, Maine

Taylor is neutered, and up-to-date on routine vaccinations, flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention. He has also been microchipped. He must go to a home where he will live inside as an important member of the family.
