Want all the furry tail-wagging that comes with a sitting kitten, without all the fur flying? The Qoobo pillow is here, and is guaranteed to make you feel like you’ve a live cat there in your lap!

My son is six-years-old. He loves animals; adores the two dogs we have. He’s wanted a cat since he could say, “Titty,” (how he used to pronounce kitty, of course!), and well? He’s out of luck because we’re all allergic, and even medicines don’t help.

I feel for him. Cats are cute and he’s wasted every birthday wish and shooting star he’s had hoping for one, to no avail.

Until now–his dreams may be sort of coming true! Enter the Qoobo pillow. It’s two pounds of feline fabulousness, and all it does is sit its rear wherever you want it and wag its furry droid tail. Yep, it just sits…adoring you from the hind end only–which, let’s face it…is often how most real cats do it anyhow, amIright?

Yukai Engineering Co., released this bad boy (or girl; it’s gender neutral!) at a Japanese trade show, with the expectation to ship sometime in the next year (drat, it was top of our Christmas list!). Qoobo is the combination of French words for robot and tail, because, well…that’s exactly what (and all) it is.

Mostly–Qoobo does respond to your petting it, and much like real kittehs, the more you pet and the better you do it, the more it rags that thing. The pillow also purrs like a…well, kitten, so you have the all the dopamine running through your system that a purring cat turns on without the cat turds hiding all over the house like they’re meant to be the best.surprise.ever!
