Snorf’s Kickstarter Puts The Fun In Functional With Fleece BatHats A

Listen up! This cool custom winter apparel line keeps your dog’s ears toasty warm.

We’ve created creatures of habit, animals conditioned to a certain lifestyle and well, they’ve decided they don’t like the cold, snow and ice any more than we do when not dressed for it.

So what to do when Rover gives us that “not a chance, pal” look as you pick up the leash and try to get him out for a frosty morning poop and scoop? Enter Dara Moss and her stylin’ BatHat brand hats, hoodies and sport clothing for dogs.

Originally Dara began stitching togs for her ailing French Bulldog Hildy who was unable to tolerate the cold. At that time, products on the market were cute yet offered no warmth or were functional and dead boring. So like Goldilocks seeking that “just right” balance, she developed a third variation, a fashionable thermal hoodie that ensures your best friend’s protruding extremities are kept toasty warm. No, not those extremities, his ears!

Fast forward and Dara’s fine-tuning has taken her designs to, dare we say, bespoke caliber!

Snorf Industries now produces outer-wear that is custom-fit to the chest and shoulder dimensions typical of a French Bulldog with roomy pockets up top to house their signature bat ears. The use of top quality Polartec Polar Fleece ensures this bitchin’ ensemble offers superior protection from the elements while the patent-pending design safeguards fragile ears from frostbite while also celebrating the breed’s rather distinctive feature. In addition to the Original BatHat, Dara offers a more fitted version for highly active pets (BatHat Sport) plus full body versions (BatHat Hoodie and BatHat Winter Hoodie).

The good news is that Snorf Industries now produces items sized for other breeds including English Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, and Pugs. And even better, the Original BatHat works for most breeds with upright ears including Dobermans, Chihuahuas, Boston Terriers, Great Danes and Pitbulls.

So Dara’s quick response to fill a growing niche market has turned her into a one-woman show with a need to expand her operation as she struggles to bring warmth to the ears of dogs throughout the world.

To shift from her sweat shop (aka living room) to a production facility, she is running a Kickstarter campaign with tremendous savings to be had. For just $18 you can choose from the Original BatHat, Original BatHat Sport or a Snorf Industries logo’d T-Shirt just for you! Bigger orders equal bigger savings and the opportunity to customize your purchase is available. With multiple industry endorsements and pet parents clamouring for her quality gear, we think Dara is just ear-marked for success!

Of course, now when your pet ignores you, you’ll never know if it is his BatHat or “selective” hearing at play!

Get on the bandwagon on Snorf’s Kickstarter page or on the official website.
