If you want a fluffy four-legged bestie, you’re in luck! Our Adoptable Dog of the Week is Lori, a 1.5 years old Great Pyrenees mix from Minneapolis, Minnesota. This gorgeous gal is spayed and up to date with her vaccinations–she has also been treated for worms and fleas. Lori is a big adorable sweetheart that has a friendly nature and does well with other dogs.

Lori’s Tale

It’s difficult to believe that a beauty such as this hasn’t found her furever family yet, especially once you get to know more about her personality. Lori is 69 pounds of pure love and preciousness, and her foster family describes her as the “sweetest girl you will ever meet”. Lori is working on her potty training and she’s doing great- she’s a smart girl that loves to make her people happy, so success is all but guaranteed. She is also crate trained and walks well on a leash. With the right people by her side, there’s no saying what this cutie pie could learn!

Lori also has a great personality that makes her a good fit for families with other pets. She is friendly and does well with other dogs, especially if they are her size. She will play with other dogs, although briefly- she prefers doing her own thing and hanging out in her own space. The fact that she’s large might be an obstacle for families with young kids, but as far as her character is concerned, Lori is a friend to everyone. Those soulful eyes and wagging tail are proof enough!

In case this big fluff ball sounds like the pooch of your dreams, contact Safe Hands Animal Rescue for more information on how to adopt her. Who knows, you might just be so lucky to gain a four-legged friend for life!
