LA Fashion Week at the Beverly Hilton Hotel went to the dogs this year, with celebri-pups wearing haute couture from designer Anthony Rubio!

LA’s Fashion Week is known to be an opulent collection of designs for the creme dela creme. Designer Anthony Rubio believes that includes celebri-pups, and presented the first full Canine Couture show, with stars like Norbert the Dog and Nick Bateman’s adorable Yorkie Joe.

Rubio partners each fashion season with animal shelters, and many of the models in his show are dogs from the shelter that are looking for their forever (fashionable, of course!) homes. He presented his Women’s Wear Spring/Summer 2018 collection and the fur was flying! MTV Teen Mom Farrah Abraham and her daughter Sophia lit up the state with their pup Bleu’s matching outfits, while the catwalk was also adorned with uber adorable dogs available for adoption from Los Angeles City and county shelters.

He also included two dogs from the Amanda Foundation in Beverly Hills, an organization that rescues cats and dogs who spend their last days in shelters. The Amanda Foundation also runs a full-service animal hospital for which the proceeds go to helping find homes for their ‘Amanda Orphans.’ This year a one-year-old Terrier named Lucious Fox and a sweet Boxer named Beyonce were Rubio’s shelter models.

Both are up for adoption with the Amanda Foundation.
